FFNNJ foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to foster and advance a greater awareness and appreciation of the art and science of swordsmanship (“fencing”). FFNJ is dedicated to empower young students to pursue a passion, learn self-discipline, build self-esteem, and achieve academic and life goals. The foundation’s main goals consists of the following:

• Provide the opportunity for local youth to participate in the sport of fencing by establishing free fencing programs for eligible disadvantaged children and local schools
• Establish need-based and merit scholarships for underprivileged and at-risk youth
• Teach the art of fencing, the sport that provides advantage in acceptance to the best colleges, nearly all of which have fencing programs

FUTURE PLANS

• The foundation will begin focusing on solicitation of financial support for the purpose of establishing fencing programs in local schools and supporting Olympic hopefuls by providing need-based and merit scholarships for underprivileged and at-risk youth in New Jersey
• The foundation will create and maintain an endowment capable of sustaining annual scholarships and training

PROGRAM COSTS

• The anticipated costs of the operating the foundation are limited to the maintenance of banking and investment accounts. All Board Members will not be compensated
